Hassocks Parish Council serves as a vital hub for the local community, providing news, history, culture, and business information to residents and visitors alike. Their goal was to create a modern, accessible, and user-friendly online presence that effectively organises and presents key community resources.
We undertook a website redesign and WordPress development project, focusing on a clear, structured layout that allows users to easily search and find information. Custom icon creation improved data organisation and usability, making the site more intuitive to navigate. Accessibility was a key priority, ensuring that the site could be managed internally with ease. Additionally, we supported the council with social media strategy and ongoing maintenance, including monthly accessibility checks using Powermapper software.
