General Terms

Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd will only carry out work when an agreement is provided either by email, telephone, mail or fax. An ‘order’ is deemed to be a written or verbal contract between Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd and the client; this includes telephone and email agreements.

Graphic Design, Web Design and Web Development

Whilst we will endeavour to ensure that all of our work including designs, websites, scripts or programs are free of errors, Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred due to malfunction or any other reason. Whilst every care will be taken to ensure our systems are problem free and accurate, the ultimate responsibility lies with the client in ensuring that all software is functioning correctly before use.

The design elements, graphics, website, programming code and scripts remain the property of Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd until all outstanding invoices are paid in full.

Any graphics, scripts, software or websites (unless specifically agreed) created or produced by Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd remain the copyright of Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd and may only be reproduced or resold with the permission of Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd.

Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd cannot take any responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials provided by the client. We reserve the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate proof is given of permission to use such material.

Any additional requests outside of the initial agreed brief will be quoted for and completed upon the client’s agreement.

The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd all of the necessary materials needed to complete the project within the original timescale including but not limited to text, images, hosting details, domain details and brand guidelines.

Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to any of the following:

•The failure to meet agreed deadlines
• Disputes between the website owner and their clients
• Work carried out on behalf of the client or the client’s employees
• Unavailability of the site
• Unavailability of its servers
• Unavailability of software
• Unavailability of materials attached to the website

Upon completion of a design or website the final balance of payment is due in accordance with our payment terms. There are no exceptions to this. If a client no longer wants the design or website they are still obliged to pay for it as the work has been completed and they have commissioned the work and paid a deposit.

Non payment may result in legal action if the matter cannot be settled. Once full payment has been received the work will be considered complete, however we will of course fix any bugs found that should have been completed in the original brief.


When hosting your site with Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd we will endeavour to have your site live and available to the public for as much time as reasonably possible. Due to factors outside of our control your site may be down from time to time, these factors include but are not limited to server upgrades, network issues, ISP configuration errors, DNS issues and viruses. Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the unavailability of the site or it’s server.

When hosting your site on a server not recommended by Trigger Solutions Created Ltd, the client will have to provide the relevant access information for the site to be setup correctly. Any issues arising due to external hosting companies should be dealt with by the client and their host, if the client is unable to resolve the issue Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd may be able to provide assistance but cost implications may arise.

Data Backup / Data Loss

Trigger Solutions can not be held responsible for any instances of data loss even if the site is hosted with ourselves. It is the clients responsibility to have a backup procedure in place unless you have a specific agreement with us.

Cross Browser Compatibility

Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd will endeavour to ensure that any website designed or developed by us will work in all modern browsers. Before launching a site we will test it in Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Google Chrome (latest release), Mozilla Firefox (latest release) and Safari (latest release). Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd can not guarantee that your website will work in every browser.

Search Engine Optimisation

Due to external factors, such as competitors SEO work and changes to the way that search engines rank websites, Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd can not offer any guarantees regarding the position we will achieve for websites. When optimising your website we will only use “white hat techniques” which will help your site to grow organically and keep your ranking as high as possible.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% of the agreed price is required from any new client before any work is carried out. It is a Trigger Solutions Creative Ltd policy that any outstanding accounts for work carried out are paid in full, no later than 14 days from the date of the invoice unless a prior arrangement has been agreed. Upon receipt of a deposit the agreed work will be completed and upon completion you are obliged to pay the remaining balance in full. We will contact clients via telephone and email to remind them of any payments that are not received on time.

Any payments not received within the agreed timescale may result in the website being taken offline until the payment is received. Unsettled invoices may be passed to the Small Claims Court to pursue payment, non payment can result in county court judgements (CCJ’s) being added to the clients credit rating. Interest and administration charges may also be applied to overdue invoices.


Retainers are set at an agreed price to be paid in advance monthly. Retainers can be cancelled giving a minimum notice of 3 months.

Privacy Policy

We will not share your details with anyone else without your express permission and we will only contact you about work related matters.

We only store anonymous statistical information in relation to website user use. We do not share any data with anyone.

We store customer data to complete projects and to respond to requests.

Complaints Procedure
