Solina Group, a leading European provider in the savoury food industry, approached Trigger to design and develop a bespoke multilingual website for their Apollo Food brand. Operating across multiple European countries, Apollo needed a modern, user-friendly platform that would bring together its operations while providing localised content for each market. The key challenge was to create a website that unified the brand’s global presence while allowing individual countries to manage their own tailored content. The site needed to be fully multilingual, easy to navigate, and seamlessly switch between languages while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all regions.
Trigger successfully won the pitch for this project by presenting a comprehensive strategy for a fresh, modern, and intuitive website. The design aligned perfectly with Apollo Food’s brand guidelines, incorporating strong visuals, brand colours, and a clean layout to ensure a cohesive user experience across all language versions. To streamline navigation, we created a central landing page featuring country flags, acting as a hub to direct users to the correct language version. At launch, the website featured six country-specific versions – France, Romania, The Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and a basic UK site, with scope for future expansion. Each country’s site was not just a translation but a fully localised experience, ensuring content, product listings, recipes, and news were tailored to each specific market. To ensure consistency, the core website structure, branding, and layout remained the same across all regions, but each country was given the flexibility to manage and update its own unique content. A prominent language switcher was placed in the site’s header to allow visitors to easily switch between country versions, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience.
The new Apollo Food multilingual website successfully enhanced the brand’s global reach while providing a professional, localised presence in each country. By creating a fully scalable platform, Apollo now has a future-proofed solution that allows for expansion into additional markets while ensuring that each audience receives relevant and engaging content in their own language. The website has strengthened Apollo’s international credibility and provided a solid digital foundation for its continued growth across Europe.
