Holiday Homes in France was created with a clear ambition to provide a simpler, more transparent way for people to discover and promote holiday properties across France. The aim was to move away from complex booking platforms and commission-heavy models, instead creating a space where holidaymakers and property owners could connect directly.
The platform needed to feel professional, welcoming and easy to use from the very first visit, while also offering the flexibility to grow as the business expanded. It was important that the website served two distinct audiences equally well – holidaymakers searching for their ideal stay, and property owners looking for an efficient and reliable way to market their homes online.
We designed and built a fully bespoke, multilingual booking website from the ground up, carefully shaping the user journey around simplicity and usability.
For holidaymakers, the experience focuses on making property discovery effortless. Visitors can search by region or property type, refine results using filters such as bedrooms and price range, and explore listings through an interactive map view. Registered users are able to create accounts, save favourite properties, share shortlists and send a single enquiry to multiple owners at once, significantly reducing the time and effort typically involved in planning a holiday.
Alongside this, a dedicated experience was developed for property owners. A guided, step-by-step listing process allows hosts to quickly create and publish property listings by adding descriptions, selecting features and uploading imagery. Behind the scenes, a custom host dashboard provides full control over listings and account details, alongside professional tools including subscription management, marketing resources and shareable property links designed to help owners promote their homes more effectively.
The platform is supported by a bespoke annual subscription system, enabling owners to choose plans based on how many properties they wish to advertise. Across the wider site, advanced search functionality, featured listings, blog content and special offers work together to improve visibility and encourage ongoing engagement.
