H’s Honey is a locally produced honey brand based in Salford. Previously, their jars featured only a basic white label, but with plans to launch at farmers’ markets, they needed a professionally designed label that would enhance their brand identity and appeal to customers. The goal was to create a visually striking and memorable design that reflected both the natural quality of the honey and its local roots.
To establish a strong brand identity, we began by designing a custom logo for H’s Honey. From there, we explored a range of jar label concepts that would not only stand out at farmers’ markets but also capture the story behind the product. The final design placed a strong emphasis on bees, tying into both the honey-making process and the famous worker bee symbol, which represents Salford and Manchester’s industrious spirit. A complementary tamper strip was also designed to ensure the product retained a premium and professional appearance. The labels were carefully crafted to balance rustic charm with a modern, clean aesthetic, ensuring they would appeal to both local shoppers and artisanal food enthusiasts.
The new branding and jar label design gave H’s Honey a recognisable and polished identity, making it stand out in the competitive farmers’ market environment. The label design successfully communicated the local heritage and quality of the honey while reinforcing its connection to Salford’s culture. The refined branding also provided the business with a strong foundation for future growth, enabling H’s Honey to establish itself as a premium local product.
