Dukefield Foodservice, a leading UK provider of catering and food distribution solutions, hosts its annual Education Catering Exhibition at the iconic Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The event brings together industry partners, suppliers, and education catering professionals for a day of networking, product showcases, and innovation. As long-term creative partners, Trigger Solutions has been entrusted with designing and producing the event invitations for over a decade, each year presenting an opportunity to deliver something fresh, functional, and visually distinctive that reflects Dukefield’s brand. For the 2025 event, our brief was to design a printed invitation that not only aligned with Dukefield’s corporate identity but also incorporated thoughtful, tactile design details that elevated the guest experience from the moment the invite landed.
We designed a bespoke A5 invitation featuring a custom ‘D’-shaped cutter guide – a subtle yet striking nod to the Dukefield logo. This creative structural element gave the design a unique edge, ensuring the invite stood out while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic. The front cover incorporated Dukefield’s branding and event title, while the reverse side featured a tear-off RSVP section, allowing guests to easily confirm attendance. Once removed, the remaining card served as a keepsake containing event details and an illustrated map with directions to the Etihad Stadium. We also included the logos of the exhibition’s participating suppliers and partners, highlighting the collaborative nature of the event. Every element from the typography to the print finish was carefully considered to reflect Dukefield’s high standards and the professional quality of their annual exhibition.
The finished invitations perfectly balanced creativity and practicality. The bespoke D-cut shape, combined with the tear-off RSVP design, delivered both visual appeal and usability, reinforcing Dukefield’s commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Having partnered with Dukefield on their annual event invitations since 2015, this project represents another successful chapter in a long-standing collaboration built on trust, consistency, and creative excellence.
