Following new ownership, The Jack & Jill Inn in Clayton needed a modern website that reflected a fresh vision for the much-loved Sussex countryside pub. The aim was to create a warm, welcoming digital presence that introduced the pub’s new direction while helping attract diners, guests and private event bookings. The website also needed to support future growth, with the flexibility to expand content and integrate additional booking functionality over time.
Trigger Solutions designed and developed a bespoke website that combines a modern aesthetic with a user-friendly experience focused on hospitality and bookings. Using a neutral colour palette, the site was designed to feel warm, relaxed and aligned with the pub’s new direction. Subtle animation throughout the site references the movement of the nearby windmills, helping create a sense of place and personality.
The website was carefully structured to support multiple user journeys, including table bookings, bedroom reservations and private hire enquiries for celebrations and events. Dedicated sections were created to showcase food and drink offerings, with sample menus and clear calls to action throughout. We also developed the website copy and implemented SEO-focused page structures and headings to improve local search visibility. The site has been built with scalability in mind, allowing future integration with external booking platforms and ongoing content expansion as the business continues to grow.
The new website has given The Jack & Jill Inn a much stronger online presence that reflects the quality, atmosphere and ambition of the new ownership. Clear user journeys, improved content structure and strong calls to action now make it easier for visitors to explore the pub, book tables and enquire about stays or events.
