With new ownership and a full refurbishment, The Poacher – a well-loved local pub in the heart of Hurstpierpoint needed a fresh digital presence to reflect its revival. The new owners wanted to showcase that the pub was under new management, attract a wider audience, and promote the venue as a destination for events, live music, and private hire.
Trigger designed and built a custom WordPress website that brings the new Poacher offering to life. With no previous online presence, the goal was to create a welcoming and informative site that champions their calendar of events, live music, DJs, sports screenings, and community activities. The website highlights the newly refurbished pub and garden, both available for private hire, and includes nods to the venue’s traditional pub games and local charm. Key features include an integrated events calendar and a live Instagram feed to keep the site current and engaging.
The new website gives The Poacher a much-needed digital home, positioning it as both a community hub and an exciting venue for events. Clear navigation, vibrant visuals, and up-to-date listings help drive footfall, support private bookings, and reintroduce the pub to both locals and new visitors alike.
